Chikankari Embroidery is a craft that originated in the Indian city of Lucknow. This art form began in the late 18th century and was made popular by the Begum of Lucknow. It's characterized by intricate floral designs that are often intricately embroidered on cotton or silk. These pieces are then embellished with sequins, beads, and mirror work. These kurtas are our attempt at recreating and celebrating the art of chikankari embroidery that has added to our country's pride for many many years at the global level too. We have attempted a contemporary look to our garments using the essence of the traditional craft.
